Transformer

The Warhol Initiative Grant provided Transformer with support for several critical capacity-building projects: a facilitated three-day board retreat and organizational self-assessment, the development, implementation and staff training of a new database system to track audience and donors, design and launch of a new Transformer website, and equipment purchases to accommodate an increase in staff.  In a time of tremendous programmatic growth expansion, the capacity-building projects enabled the organization’s operations to keep pace; helping the organization better position itself for continued, sustainable growth. Through a stronger core of operations, Transformer has been able to take advantage of  myriad opportunities including pursuing an increasingly diverse base of financial support through new individual and corporate funders, and achieving several exciting exhibition and programmatic collaborations with local, national and international institutions.
