Storefront for Art and Architecture
The Warhol Initiative Grant enabled Storefront for Art and Architecture to make a historic move, from the basement of the Storefront gallery to an office space located nearby, facilitating the first office move in the organization’s thirty-year history and allowing for the expansion of operations and spatial capacity. The funds enabled Storefront to make a deposit on a carefully chosen space and to purchase necessary office equipment to improve administrative functionality. Storefront was able to hire movers to transport all necessary items from the Storefront basement to the new offices so that the amount of time spent away from day to day office and gallery tasks was minimal. In addition to facilitating this move, the remainder of the Warhol Initiative funds were used to grow the organization’s cash reserve.
