Creative Time is partnering with MoMA PS1 to curate video programming on MTV called Art Breaks. Art Breaks aims to build on MTV’s rich legacy of introducing its audience to vanguard video art, including early work from Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Spike Jonze, Kenny Scharf and Doug Aitken, as well as Andy Warhol’s 15 Minutes. The videos in the series include works by Sema Bekirovic, Cody Critcheloe, Andrew Kuo, Mads Lynnerup, Tala Madani, Divya Mehra, Rashaad Newsome, Jani Ruscica, Mickalene Thomas, and Guido van der Werve:

East of Borneo presents SUMMER ISSUES COOPERATIVE, a two-week exhibition in the form of a pop-up newsstand at Greene Exhibitions in Culver City, CA. The generosity-based event will distribute current and archival art magazines contributed by over 20 nonprofit publishers from Los Angeles, New York, London, and Vancouver, all of which will be made available to take home free of charge. Visitors are also encouraged to bring in their own magazines to trade or donate, creating an exhibition will expand and contract each day as publications are removed from the newsstand and others are placed back into circulation. Opening reception June 29th 6-9pm:
